  EARL H. SHULTZ
  
    Earl H. Shultz, 82, Hay Street, Berlin, died August 10, 1977.  He
  was born Sept. 23, 1894, in Meyersdale, the son of the late Daniel
  and Mary (Rheumiser) Shultz.  He was preceded in death by his wife,
  the former Mabel M. Rabb, in 1977; three brothers and three
  sisters.  He is survived by three children: Earl R. of Camarillo,
  Calif.; Mrs. Jacob (Helen) Shirk of Davidsville and Richard S. of
  Pittsburgh; also by one granddaughter.  He was a brother of Mrs.
  Dorothy Keller of Cumberland, Md.
    He was former chief of police of Berlin, a charter member and past
  chief of the Berlin Fire Department, life member and past commander
  of American Legion Post 445, and a member of the Trinity United
  Church of Christ, Berlin.
    Funeral services were held August 13 at the Johnson and Son Funeral
  Home with Rev. Charles W. Sigler officiating.  Interment, Berlin
  I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
