Shultz, 68, Friedens RD 1, died Sept. 2, 1983, at Windber Hospital. Born Aug. 22, 1915, in Somerset Township. Son of Cyrus and Hattie (Landis) Shultz. Preceded in death by parents, brother, Clarence, sisters, Anna Ryman and Ruth Hoover. Survived by his wife, the former Bernice Maust, whom he married Aug. 21, 1942. He was a brother of Miss Nora, Versailles, Ky., Leroy, Somerset, Mrs. Alverda Berkebile, Stoystown, and Mrs. Gerald (Maude) Donahue, Stoystown RD 1. He was a retired PennDOT employee, WW II Army veteran, member of Listie Brethren Church, UMW of A, Somerset VFW No. 554, and Jenner Rod and Gun Club. Family received friends Friday evening and will receive friends Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in the Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday. The Rev.
