Shultz, 69, Confluence, died Dec. 13, 2001 in Henry Clay Villa, Markleysburg. Born Sept. 2, 1932 in Somerfield, a son of the late Merrill M. and Pearl Gladys (Lint) Shultz. In addition to his parents, preceded in death by brothers John and Allen. Survived by daughters, Bonnie Linderman of Pleasonton, Kansas, Jaymee Metheney, Markleton, and Brenda Malt, Confluence; six grandchildren, John, Bobbie Jo, Tina, Jody, Jimmy and Brian; and a great-granddaughter, Ashley; sisters, Jessie Baum, Markleysburg, Thelma Frantz, Dundas, Va., Evelyn Henry and Janie King, both of Sebring, Fla., and Charlotte Friend, of Friendsville, Md., and brothers, Merrill Shultz, Lemont Furnace, and Elmer Shultz, of Farmington. A veteran of the U.S. Army. A member of Teamster Local 491 of Uniontown and a retired truck driver from Quinn Freight Lines of Perryopolis. Friends received from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, and from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., the hour of service, Saturday. Rev. Timothy Gonsell officiating.
