She was born Oct. 17, 1919, in Salisbury, to Jonas and Lela Lichty and resided there until 2001, when she moved to the Manor at Oakridge, an independent living facility in Harrisburg. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clyde. Mary Jo is survived by daughter, Lela Shultz, Harrisburg; son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Ursula Shultz, Henderson, Nev.; daughter and son-in-law Margaret and Steve Carbaugh, Henderson, Nev.; sister Sara Jane Lichty, Hollidaysburg; brother Paul Lichty of Salisbury; sister and brother-in-law Pat and Harry Werner of Salisbury. A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, April 30 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Salisbury.
