All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/somerset/ ________________________________________________ STANLEY BEVERLY SHULTZ Stanley Beverly Shultz, former well-known painter and carpenter of Rockwood, well-known throughout southern Somerset County, who died March 11th in St. Petersburg, Fla., was interred Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock in the cemetery at New Centerville, the body having arrived in Rockwood on train 21 over the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad at 2:15 Tuesday afternoon. Services were conducted by the Rev. L. W. Gross, pastor of the New Centerville Lutheran Church, with funeral arrangements in charge of Mills & Mickey, Rockwood morticians. Mr. Shultz, aged 66, was a son of the late Jeremiah W. and Eliza (Lucas) Shultz, and was a member of the Lutheran Church in Rockwood for many years. He also held membership in the Somerset Lodge of Odd Fellows, members of which organization served as pall-bearers. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Florence (Rhodes) Shultz, a son, Stanley Shultz, Jr., a daughter, Miss Ruth Shultz, of St. Petersburg, Fla., and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Harry Fritz, Miss Elizabeth Shultz and Ira Z. Shultz, of Somerset; Elmer Shultz, of Connellsville; Luther Shultz, North Street, Meyersdale; and Mrs. Ada Knoll, of Rockwood. Meyersdale Republican, June 6, 1940
