  FLORENCE MAE SHUMAC
  
    Florence Mae Shumac, 94, Meyersdale, died Jan. 21, 1982, Meyersdale
  Community Hospital.
    She was born Nov. 9, 1887, in Summit Township, a daughter of the
  late Solomon and Malinda (Handwerk) Gnagey.  She was preceded in
  death by her husband, Wilson, also two brothers and four sisters.
    She is survived by a brother, Norval Gnagey, Meyersdale RD 3; and a
  sister, Pearl Zarefoss, Meyersdale; also a number of nieces and
  nephews.
    She was a member of the Summit Mills Church of the Brethren.
    Friends were received at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where
  services were conducted with the Rev. William Phennicie.  Interment,
  Summit Mills Church of the Brethren Cemetery.
