  SHUMAKER
  
  A. Cecil Shumaker, 74, Boswell RD 3, died the morning of Aug. 28,
  1985, at Somerset Community Hospital.  Born June 15, 1911, in
  Salisbury, son of Abraham and Estelle (Housel) Shumaker.  Preceded in
  death by parents; sister Dorothy; two brothers, Alvin and Lee. 
  Survived by widow, the former Ellen Clark; two children: Shirley,
  wife of John S. Straka, Boswell; Douglas, married to the former Linda
  J. Thomas, Boswell RD 3; four grandsons: John, Terry, and Paul Straka
  and Doug Shumaker; two great-granddaughters: Lindsey and Terra Lynn
  Straka.  Brother of Ruth Jacobs, Waldorf, Md.  Member of Jenner Rod
  and Gun Club.  Retired employee of Boswell Lumber Co. with over 50
  years of service.  Friends received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at
  Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell, where services will be
  held at 11 a.m. Friday, with the Rev. Russell Simpson officiating. 
  Interment, Jenner Crossroads Cemetery.
