  CURTIS L. SHUMAKER
  
    Curtis L. Shumaker, 73, of Riviera Beach, Md., formerly of Boswell
  area, died unexpectedly Sept. 18, 1982, at North Arundel Hospital.
    He was born July 25, 1909 in Fairhope, son of Edward C. and Almeda
  (Smith) Shumaker.  He was preceded in death by parents; two sisters:
  Katherine and Elizabeth.
    He is survived by wife, the former Arlene Martin; and these
  children: Betty Tarleton of Leeds, Ala.; Sara Jane Criss, and Robert
  Miller, both of Pasadena, Md.  He was the brother of Leota Hager of
  Olmsted Falls, Ohio; Margaret Walker, Loretta Smith, James Campbell
  Jr., all of Clarksville; Betty Sakal, Pittsburgh; Mabel Emerick,
  Jenners; and William Shumaker, Sycamore.  He was an army veteran of
  World War II.
    Friends were received at the Hoffman Funeral Home, 409 Main St.,
  Boswell, where services were held with the Rev. Max DeArmey
  officiating.  Interment, Jenner Crossroads Cemetery.
