  SHUMAKER
  
  Mrs. Evelyn M. Shumaker, 69, of Somerset RD 1 died July 17, 1978, in
  Somerset Community Hospital.  Born Sept. 17, 1906, Somerset, daughter
  of the late Homer W. and Florence (Fisher) Ansell.  Survived by her
  husband, Charles J.; and these children: Mrs. Lee (Betty Jean)
  Stutzman, Somerset RD 5; Ronald O., Somerset RD 1; Mrs. Melvin
  (Bonnie Kay) Burkett, Stoystown RD 1; five grandchildren; 1
  great-grandchild.  She was a sister of: Mrs. Ira Dively, Somerset RD
  6; Mrs. Ralph Pyle and Ralph Ansell, both of Somerset RD 1.  Member
  of the Milford United Methodist Church.  Friends received after 2
  p.m. Tuesday in the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home, where services
  will be conducted Wednesday at 1:30 p.m., with the Rev. Dewayne
  Johnson officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park. 
  Family requests that contributions may be made to the American Cancer
  Society.
