  SHUMAKER
  
  Harvey Shumaker, 76, of Somerset, died Dec. 30, 2003, at Siemon
  Lakeview Manor.  Born July 29, 1927, in Somerset, he is the son of
  the late Harvey and Sarah (Menhorn) Shumaker.  Also preceded in death
  by a daughter Barbara; brother, Ward; sister, Grace Adren, Mae Stern
  and Eleanor Shumaker.  Survived by sister, Helen Mayer of Troy, Ohio;
  brothers, Carl Eugene Shumaker and Robert Shumaker of LaPorte, Ind. 
  Caregiver and sister-in-law Isabel Shumaker of Quecreek and several
  nieces and nephews.  U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.  Barbered for
  Dillian Barber Shop for five years and then moved to California and
  barbered for the Jonathan Club until his retirement.  Friends
  received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the Robert H. Halverson
  Funeral Home, where service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday with Rev.
  Jay Shaffer officiating.  Interment in St. Paul's Cemetery.
