Born April 29, 1896, in Kimmelton, daughter of the late Jacob and Elizabeth (Wilt) Keller. Preceded in death by first husband, Franklin Trostle, in 1937; second husband, Clyde Shumaker in 1971; a daughter, Alice Kaufman; a son, George Trostle; six brothers; two sisters; and a daughter in infancy. Survived by three children: Mrs. Alfred (Ada) Pyle, Orlando, Fla.; Mrs. Lester (Verda) Lambert, Hollsopple RD 3, and Charles Trostle, married to former Evelyn Welsh, of Warrensville, N.C.; stepdaughter, Mrs. Karl (Mabel) Brown, Somerset; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Also son-in-law, Harley Kaufman, Hollsopple RD 3; one sister, Mrs. James (Emma) Will, Somerset RD 5. Member of Somerset Church of the Brethren. Friends will be received 7-9 p.m. Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home. Funeral service Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Somerset Church of the Brethren, the Revs. Roger Forry and Daniel Nicholson officiating. Interment, Stoystown Cemetery.
