  SHUMAKER
  
  Jane Louise Sarver Shumaker, 67, of Somerset died Oct. 11, 2001 at
  Somerset Hospital.  Born June 27, 1934 in Somerset, she is the
  daughter of the late James and Mary (Burkett) Sarver.  Also preceded
  in death by three infant children, brother, Paul Sarver, sisters,
  Alda Rinick, Phyllis Shaulis and Jolinda Snyder.  Survived by former
  husband, Herbert E. Shumaker, daughters, Mary Etta Shumaker of
  Somerset, and Mrs. Owen (Lou Ann) Beachy of Friedens; and
  grandchildren, Tyler and Conner Beachy.  Sister of Mrs. Rev. Daniel
  (Margaret) Menser of Hampton, Va. and Mrs. Bruce (Ruth Ann) Soliday
  of Altoona.  Uncle Edgar Burkett of Somerset, several nieces and
  nephews and close friends.  Dorothy and Tammy Manges.  Member of
  First Christian Church.  A 1952 graduate of Somerset High School,
  helped establish C.A.S.A. counselor for Victim Services and
  volunteered at the Somerset Hospital Snack Bar.  Friends received
  from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral
  Home, Where service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday with the Rev.
  Daniel F. Nicksich officiating.  Interment, Wills Cemetery.
