Born May 29, 1919, in Egypt, Pa., daughter of John and Susan (Malock) Madeya. Preceded in death by parents, husband Charles L., brothers Joseph, John, Thomas, Donald and Fredrick Madeya, and sisters Anna Genevese and Elizabeth Madeya. She was the beloved mother of Connie, married to Philip Nider, of Kent, Ohio; Sandra, married to Paul Leput, of Berlin; Charlotte, married to Bruce Hostetler, of Sarver; and Kimberly Shunk of Berlin. Also survived by grandchildren Stephine, Philip, David, Mark, Aaron, Shawn, Tina, and Cody; and great-grandchildren Nakoda, Jeremy, Elizabeth, Cole, Payton, Patrick, and Shaunn. Sister of Albert and Michael Madeya, Helen Geiger, Louise Gregus, Susan Carol, Cecelia Bristol, Elsie Adams, Ethel Gosits and Martha Guzzi. She retired from Maple Mountain Manor. Member of Berlin Brethren Church. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where a service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, with the Rev.
