  Clifford J. Sible, 87, of Brownstown Hill Road, Stoystown, died May
  5, 2001 at Select Specialty Hospital, Johnstown.  Born Jan. 15, 1914
  in Jeanette, son of John and Barbara (Hartman) Sible.  Preceded in
  death by parents; wife, the former Gladys Peck; brothers, Richard,
  Clarence and Kenneth; and sisters, June Mellon and Dorothy Kelly. 
  Survived by these children: Dennis J., married to the former Joan
  Wade of Plano, Texas, Janice, married to Donald Benning of Stoystown
  and Jane Smith of Carlisle; grandchildren, Scott Beckner, Heather
  Jacobs, Brian Sible, Troy and Matthew Smith and Donald Benning Jr.;
  and sisters, Martha Schrock of Somerset and Betty Keller of South
  Dakota.  Retired carpenter, member of Friedens Lutheran Church. 
  Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at
  Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown.  Viewing from 10 a.m. until service
  at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Friedens Lutheran Church.  Rev. Edward V.
  DeVore officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.  In
  lieu of flowers contributions may be given to Friedens Lutheran
  Church, Friedens, Pa. 15541
