Siegner, 70, of Hobe Island, Fla., died May 19, 1994 at home. Born July 10, 1923 in Meyersdale, he was a son of the late John F. and Mary E. (Seiler) Siegner. He was also preceded in death by a sister Ethel and a brother John. He is survived by his wife Marty, three brothers: Lee, Eugene and Ernest; five sisters: Irene, Verna, Elizabeth, Catherine and Eleanor; and 14 nieces and nephews. He was retired from the Navy after 20 years of service. He was stationed on the battleship U.S.S. Cove for the duration of World War II. During Vietnam, he was head of Project Engineering for the United States Government at Belvour, Va. He was buried at Forest Hill Memorial Park in Palm City, Fla. His classmates of 1942 will remember him as an outstanding football player. New Republic, June 2, 1994 [S1709]
