Siegner, 68, of Hyndman RD 1, died suddenly February 17, 1984, at his residence. He was born in Hyndman Dec. 29, 1915 the son of Adam C. Siegner, Hyndman, and the late Ora (Mull) Siegner. He was a retired employee of the Celanese Corporation's Amcelle plant near Cumberland, Md. He was a member of the Textile Workers Union and was a lifelong member of Central Christian Church, where he served as treasurer and elder. He served in the Merchant Marine in World War II. Besides his father, he is survived by his widow, Mrs. Pauline M. (Lenhart) Siegner; one daughter, Mrs. Shirleen Heiple, New Paris RD 1; one brother, Henry Siegner, Cumberland, Maryland; four sisters, Mrs. Ida Fields, Mrs. Leila Meyers and Mrs. Geraldine Bagley, all of Hyndman; Mrs. Martha Rider, Berkeley Springs, W. Va.; and two grandchildren. Friends were received at the Zeigler Funeral Home. Services were conducted at Central Christian Church with Pastor Galen Beitzel and the Rev. H. B. Rittenhouse officiating. Interment was in Hyndman Cemetery. Pallbearers were Charles Miller, Orlando Bower, Randy Bower, David Tew, Wayne Tew and Roen Cook. The Republic, February 23, 1984 [S1713]
