He was born in Meyersdale, Nov. 2, 1902, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. George H. Siehl. He graduated from Johnstown High School and was a well-known athlete. He was a brick mason at Bethlehem Steel Co., Johnstown, since 1924. In addition to his wife, Mrs. Bertha (Stutzman) Siehl, he is survived by four children: Lonnie, Eileen and Alberta Siehl, at home, and LaVonne Siehl, student nurse at Johnstown Memorial Hospital, also a grandchild. Two sisters, Mrs. Melvin Singer and Mrs. Vincent Hartnett, and three brothers, Matthew, William and George Siehl, all of Johnstown, also survive. Funeral services will be held this (Thursday) afternoon at the H. M. Picking mortuary, Johnstown, at 2 p.m., with Rev. S. Carmany officiating. Burial in Grandview Cemetery.
