Sigler Sr., 76, of 131 Washington Street, Frostburg, Maryland, died December 1, 1983 at Frostburg Community Hospital. Born in Mount Savage, Maryland, he was the son of the late Harry Sigler and Ann (Wilkinson) Sigler. His first wife, M. Virginia (Gates) Sigler, also preceded him in death. He was a retired Frostburg State College stationary engineer. He was a member of Frostburg United Methodist Church; member of Mountain Lodge 99, AF & M, and he was the oldest master of the lodge. He also was a member of Chapter 42, Maryland Classified Employees Association. Surviving are his widow, Naomi (Schrock) Green Sigler; a son, Dr. E. James Sigler, Frostburg; two daughters, Mrs. Andrea Fae Jackson, Hyndman; and Mrs. Naomi V. Cangianelli, Westernport; four stepsons, Allen Green, Salisbury; Blaine Green, Silver Spring; James Green, Middletown, N. J.; Richard Green, Cumberland, Maryland; two step-daughters, Mrs. June Walker, La Vale, and Mrs. Louise Longanecker, Bristolville, Ohio; a sister, Mrs. Evelyn Llewellyn, Frostburg; a brother, Charles Sigler, Frostburg; six grandchildren; one great granddaughter, 17 step-grandchildren and three step great-grandchildren. Friends were received at the Sowers Funeral Home, Frostburg where services were conducted by the Rev. Kenneth M. Humbert and the Rev. John Bailey Jones. The Republic, December 8, 1983 [S1722]
