Born May 13, 1905, in Austria, son of Anthony and Matilda Sigmund. Preceded in death by parents; wife, the former Minnie Tressler; son, Rudy; and three sisters. Survived by son, Paul, married to the former Joy Geary, Stoystown RD 3; daughter, Mrs. Herbert (Irene) Wejner, Pittsburgh; 7 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren. Retired coal miner and was founder of Sigmund Auto Wreckers of Stoystown. Family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday, with Dr. Melvin Vance officiating.
