Silbaugh, 91, of Confluence, died Dec. 16, 2003 in Henry Clay Villa, Markleysburg. Born Sept. 12, 1912 in Henry Clay Township, a daughter of the late Charles O. and Nellie (Butler) Burnworth. In addition to her parents, preceded in death by brothers George, Ben, Paul, and Carl; sisters Nelle Hansler, Nina Parker, Evelyn Ferrell, and foster sisters Katie Carter and Florence Show. Survived by her husband Frederick; sons Ray and wife Diane of Confluence, and Charles and wife Sue of Sykesville, Md.; a daughter Kay Turnbull and husband John of Greenwood, Del.; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; three step grandchildren; and a sister Wilma Ream of Pleasant Gap. She was a life time member of Johnson Chapel United Methodist Church where she also taught Sunday school and belonged to the United Methodist women. Friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, where a service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Timothy Rogers officiating.
