  SIMON a.k.a. SIMMONS
  
    Helen Simon, a.k.a Simmons, 81, of Meyersdale, formerly of
  Macdonaldton, died Aug. 8, 1997, at Meyersdale Manor.  Born Dec. 15,
  1915, in Woodvale, daughter of Frank and Mary (Petro) Simmons. 
  Preceded in death by parents; brother, Frank, and sisters, Mary
  Collein and Christine.  Sister of Ann Salonish of Hyndman, Michael of
  Pittsburgh, Catherine Beverly of Oxen Hill, Md.; Eva Simmons and
  Stella Arscott, both of Baltimore, Md.; John of Gibsonia, and George
  and Paul, both of Berlin.  Also numerous nieces and nephews.  Member
  of St. Mary's Russian Orthodox Church, Central City.  Family will
  receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Deaner Funeral
  Home, Berlin, where Parastas will be held at 7:30 p.m. Sunday.  Brief
  service at the funeral home at 8:30 a.m. Monday, followed by Divine
  Liturgy at St. Mary's Russian Orthodox Church, Central City.  Very
  Rev. John Govrusik officiating.  Interment, church cemetery.
