  GEORGE R. SIMPKINS
  
    Funeral services were held June 9, 1980 at the Redmon Funeral Home,
  Stow, Ohio, for George R. Simpkins, 78, of Stow, who died June 6 at
  Cuyahoga Falls General Hospital, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.
    He was born at Salisbury and was the son of the late Stewart and
  Katherine (Kolflesh) Simpkins, and was a rubber worker for the
  Firestone Tire and Rubber Company for 34 years.  He retired in 1967.
    He is survived by his widow, Mary Simpkins, of Stow; three sons,
  Robert Simpkins, Norton, Ohio; Edward Simpkins and Larry Simpkins,
  both of Stow; one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Marilyn) Oberlin, North
  Canton, Ohio; two brothers, Charles Edgar Simpkins of Ellerslie and
  Stewart Simpkins of Salisbury; and six grandchildren.
    Interment in Northlawn Memorial Gardens, near Stow.
