  SIMPSON
  
    Bertha Simpson, 84, of Meyersdale, died March 3, 1990, in
  Meyersdale Manor.  Born Nov. 1, 1905, in Orlando, Arkansas, daughter
  of the late William and Crovia (Barnett) Herndon.  Also preceded in
  death by three husbands: Charles Roby Sr., Paul Firle and Melvin
  Simpson.  Survived by a son, Charles Roby Jr. of Cumberland, Md.;
  five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  Service will be
  conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale,
  with the Rev. Carl Mitchell officiating.  Interment Sts. Philip and
  James Cemetery, Meyersdale.
