  SIMPSON
  
  Mary E. Simpson, 88, Hollsopple RD 1, died Dec. 25, 1988, at her
  residence.  She was born Oct. 7, 1900, in Benscreek, Somerset County,
  daughter of John and Kathryn (Kaufman) Forbes.  Preceded in death by
  parents; husband Don R. Simpson, who died March 16, 1982; daughters
  Mary Kathryn Caola, Grace Arlene Wojtaszek; and five brothers. 
  Survived by grandchildren: Don Wojtaszek, married to the former Mary
  E. Scott, Davidsville; Robert Wojtaszek, married to the former Sherry
  Page, Hollsopple RD 1; Carol Jean, wife of John Kertis, and Joseph D.
  Caola, married to the former Nancy Leroy, Hollsopple RD 1; Dennis R.
  Caola, married to the former Margaret Boland, Somerset; James Caola,
  Philadelphia; Karen, wife of Richard Keiser, Lancaster; and 15
  great-grandchildren.  Member of Maple Spring Church of the
  Brethren.  Family receiving friends 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at George
  E. Mason Funeral Home, Davidsville, where services are 11 a.m.
  Wednesday, the Rev. Beverly B. Good officiating.  Interment, Maple
  Spring Cemetery.
