  SIMPSON
  
    Dr. R. Leslie Simpson, 87, of Corsicana, Tex. died Monday, Sept.
  28, 1998.  Born in England on Sept. 27, 1911.  Survived by wife, Doris
  Simpson; daughter Becky and Jack Lester, both of Corsicana, Tex.;
  sister, Marian Simpson of Saltsburg, Pa.; grandson Mark Lester; and
  granddaughter Sandy Lester and Veronica Lester, all of Corsicana,
  Tex.  Dr. Simpson was a retired superintendent of North Star Area High
  School District in Boswell.  Also he was a 32nd degree Mason and a
  veteran.  The service will be at 3 p.m. Sept. 30 at Resthaven
  Mausoleum Chapel, W. Highway 31 Corsicana, Texas, with the Rev. Jimmy
  Fenley officiating, First United Methodist Church.  Interment in
  Resthaven Memorial Park.  Memorial contributions may be given to the
  charity of your choice.
