Cashman Sims, died Feb. 16, 1981, at the Gadsden Baptist Hospital, Gadsden, Ala. She was born Oct. 24, 1919, in Meyersdale, the daughter of the late Henry Crissinger and wife Anna Logson. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Jerry Cashman, and Earl Sims. She is survived by three sons, Jerry, of Jacksonville, Fla.; Paul, Atlanta, Georgia; John, of Gadsden; and a daughter Theresa, of Atlanta. Also survived by eight grandchildren and eight sisters, Mary Faidley, Greensburg; Rita Brenneman, Irene Zakucia, Betty Gross, Julia Miller, all of Meyersdale. Etta Leurs, of Gap; Phylis Cunningham, Baltimore, Md.; Carol Duppstadt, Florida; and two brothers, Henry L. Crissinger, Meyersdale; and Harvey Crissinger, Erin, Tenn. Friends were received at Colliers & Butler Funeral Home, Gadsden, where services were conducted by the Rev. Hall, on Feb. 17. Interment, Gadsden Cemetery.
