  FREEMAN W. SINES
  
    Freeman W. Sines, 74, Route 1, Friendsville, Md., died Thursday,
  Dec. 8, 1988, at Garrett County Memorial Hospital, Oakland, Md.
    Born May 13, 1914, in Friendsville, Md., he was the son of Charles
  H. Sines.
    He was a retired coal miner and timberman.
    Surviving are his widow, Janet L. (Dill) Sines; three sons, Wilbur
  F. Sines, Fort Irwin, Calif.; Jerry R. Sines and Charles H. Sines,
  both of Friendsville, Md.; two stepsons, Vernon Sines and Karol
  Meyers, both of Friendsville, Md.; three daughters, Linda S.
  Moreland, Maysville, W.Va.; and Mary Ann Sines and Patricia Sines,
  both of Friendsville, Md.; two sisters, Ella Mae Viole, Wick Haven;
  and Rhoda Lilly, Confluence; and 10 grandchildren.
    Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home, Friendsville,
  where services were conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Dana
  Umbel.  Interment, Sand Spring Cemetery.
