Sines, 44, of Somerset died Jan. 5, 1978, at Somerset Community Hospital. He was born Aug. 13, 1933, in Swallow Falls, Md., a son of Mrs. Mary (Spiker) Sines of Boynton and the late Raymond Sines. Preceded in death by his father and a sister. Survived by his wife, the former Bertha Caton and the following children: Kenneth Eugene, Cheryl, William and Stephen, all at home. A brother of Herman, Springs; Troy, Alabama; Milton, Boynton; Raymond, Woodbridge, Va.; Dayton, Saxton; Roger, Gray; Randy, Tennessee; Mrs. Jesse Cook, Cairnbrook; Mrs. Guy Lipscomb, Detroit, Mich.; and Mrs. Richard Skufscau, Cleveland, Ohio. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran retiring in 1971. Member of the American Legion, Somerset, and Somerset Church of God. Friends will be received after 7 p.m. Friday in the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home where funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Flavis Burroughs officiating. Interment, Union Cemetery, Salisbury. Daily American, January 6, 1978 [S1779]
