  SINGER
  
    Katharine S. Singer, 85, West Catherine Street, Somerset, died June
  6, 1980, in Somerset Community Hospital.  Born Sept. 5, 1894, in
  Philadelphia, daughter of the late John and Anna M. (Ryan) Evans.
  Also preceded in death by husband Chester J., son Joseph and brother
  Joseph M. Evans.  Survived by children: Chester J., Somerset, and
  Charles F. of Canton, Ohio; seven grandchildren, nine great
  grandchildren.  Member St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, Somerset.
  Friends will be received 7-9 p.m. Sunday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday
  in Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home.  Mass of Christian Burial 9:30 a.m.
  Tuesday at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, the Rev. Father Samuel
  Tomaselli officiating.  Interment, St. Benedict's Catholic Cemetery,
  Carrolltown, Pa.  Rosary will be recited 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral
