Singo Sr., 89, of St. Petersburg, Fla., formerly of Somerset, died Feb. 10, 1995, at his residence. Born Jan. 13, 1906, in Middlecreek Township, son of the late Willis and Nettie Heckler Singo. Preceded in death by these brothers and sisters: Harry, Charles, Robert, Dorsey, Ernest, Clifford, Evelina Singo, Jenny Singo, Grace Reese, Bertha Putnam, Louisa Whipkey and Carrie Faust. Survived by his wife of 69 years, the former Elizabeth Lehman; a daughter, Betty Singo of Pinellas Park, Fla., and sons: J. Paul of Gladwin, Mich., Frank Jr. of Rockwood RD 3 and Homer of Jenner Cross Roads; 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, one great great grandchild; a sister, Mary Brendlen of Lakeland, Fla.; numerous nieces and nephews. Member and retired minister of the Church of God. Also retired coal worker. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday morning until 10:30 at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home, Somerset. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Somerset Church of God, Rev. C. B. Shaal and Rev. M. D. Herring officiating.
