  SINGO
  
    Merle Singo, 80, of Somerset Towers died Dec. 28, 1993, at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born June 28, 1913, in Middlecreek Township.  Son of the late
  Daniel and Ida (Miller) Singo.  Preceded in death by his parents; a
  sister, Emma Gary, and brothers, Lloyd and Maurice Singo.  Survived by
  a daughter, Mrs. Joe (Elaine) Birkhimer of Waverly, Ohio; a
  stepdaughter, Mrs. Harry (Joyce) Miller of Piketon, Ohio; a stepson,
  Dean Beck of Rockwood RD 2; four grandchildren-Brian, Doug, Kathy and
  Lindsay; two great-grandchildren - Aaron and Allen; three
  step-great-grandchildren; a sister, Blanche Gary of Rockwood RD 2.
  Also survived by close friend, Anna Mae Davis, Somerset. Retired
  employee of the U.S. Bank.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7
  to 9 p.m. today (Thursday) at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home, where
  funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, the Rev. Tom Singo
  officiating.  Interment, Middlecreek Cemetery.
