"Guy" 02/18/05 Daily American John J. "Guy" Sink, 89, Somerset, (Bakersville), formerly of Acme, died Feb. 16, 2005, at the home of his brother and sister-in-law, Tom and Pat Shaulis. He was born Nov. 2, 1915, in Melcroft, a son of the late Michael Sink. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his beloved wife, Linda L. Shaulis Sink, in 2004 and one brother. He is survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. "Guy" was a retired coal miner, having been employed at the Melcroft mines and he also worked at the Sunoco Station in Donegal for many years. His favorite hobbies were playing cards and doing crossword puzzles. He was a member of St. Raymond of the Mountains Roman Catholic Church, Donegal. Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday in the Clyde Brooks Funeral Home Inc., Route 711, Melcroft. A funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Raymond of the Mountains Roman Catholic Church, Donegal. The Rev. John Harrold celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Raymond's Cemetery.
