EDWARD SIPE

  Edward Sipe, aged 66, died last Thursday midnight at the home of his brother, 
Michael Sipe, at the Sipe Hotel, Jenner Cross Roads, from influenza.  He is 
survived by his brother, Michael, and five sisters: Mrs. George Schmucker, 
Johnstown; Mrs. Agnes Korns, Ferndale; Mrs. John Arbaugh, Ligonier; Mrs. Jane 
Speicher, Somerset, and Mrs. Frank Blough, Boswell.  Funeral services were 
conducted Sunday afternoon at the Sipe Hotel by the Rev. Lewis Foltz, pastor of 
the Stoyestown Lutheran Church.  Interment in the United Brethren cemetery at 
Jenner Cross Roads.
