Born Sept. 15, 1915, in Johnstown, Son of Harry Thomas and Lottie (Hoffman) Sipe. Preceded in death by parents; wife, the former Autrice Gay "Peg" Stutzman, who died Oct. 17, 1984; daughter, Judy Kay Krause and her husband, Harold; grandson, Eric Krause; and great-grandson, Conner Krause; brothers, Earl, Walter, Glenn and Dewey Sipe; and sisters, Maude "Becky" Onkst and Betty Bell. Survived by children, Barbara A. Geary, Berlin; Richard L. Sipe, married to the former Anne Buchanan, Marietta; Wayne E. Sipe, married to the former Claudine Stouffer, Somerset; and Mrs. Terry (Arlene) Suder, Garrett; grandchildren, Douglas and William Shaffer Staci Preston, Michael Geary, Christopher and Chrissy Sipe, Robert "Robbie" Sipe, Jessica Stuart, Jason and Mitzi Krause, Melissa Friedline and Angela and Todd Suder; great-grandchildren, Ava Preston, Aiden and Emma Stuart, Tanner and Collin Krause, Alexandria, Jasmine and Tyler Krause, Tyler and Austin Suder; brother and sister, Roy Sipe and wife, Cynthia, Johnstown; and Mae Clark, Davidsville. Paul was former owner and operator of ESSO Gas Station in Brotherton for many years, he also worked as a diesel mechanic until his retirement in 1983 for Jarret Trucking. He was also a member of the Local Teamsters and the Brotherton Church of the Brethren, he enjoyed watching the Steelers and NASCAR and also enjoyed golfing and outdoor activities. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, where a service will be conducted 1p.m. Monday. The Rev. Kenneth Davis officiating.
