He was born June 9, 1906 in Meyersdale RD. He was the son of Henry and Clara Weimer Sipple. He was a retired coal miner who had worked for Merrill Coal Company. He also worked for the Pa. Dept. of Highways. He is survived by his present wife, Rita Jordan Sipple and these children: Mike Sipple and Henry Sipple, both of Meyersdale RD 4; two step-sons, Mark Lowery and Roy Lowery, both of Iowa; daughters Mrs. John (Ruth) Wedge Jr. of Meyersdale; Mrs. Donald (Almeda) Miller, Meyersdale RD 1; and step-daughter Mrs. Robert (Shirley) Dively of Berlin. One sister Mrs. John (Lillian) Dively, Berlin; 8 grandchildren; 12 step-grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 2 step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife Jennie Weaver. He was a member of Meyersdale's Masonic Blue Lodge 554 and Harrisburg's Consistory Lodge; Meyersdale Volunteer Fire Dept.; Meyersdale Moose Lodge 76; Laurel Falls Assn.; Democratic HACK Club; and a life member of Republican Club of Lonaconing, Md. Friends are being received at the Price Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2 p.m., at the funeral home with Rev. Lloyd Sechriest officiating. Interment at the Reform Cemetery, Meyersdale.
