Sipple, 63, of Salisbury, died July 22, 1974, at his home after a long illness. Born Sept. 11, 1910, in Elk Lick Township, he was a son of the late Lloyd C. and Lydia S. (Housel) Sipple. He was a retired machinist for Celanese Fibers Corporation of Cumberland, with 29 years of service, and was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Salisbury. Surviving are a daughter, Sherlda Jenkins, of Pontiac, Mich., and one grandchild; two brothers, Paul Sipple of Doylestown and Nyle Sipple of Grantsville, Md.; also four sisters, Mrs. Almeda Cecil, Akron, Ohio; Mrs. Miriam Hart, Moseley, Va.; Miss Blanche Sipple, Phoenixville; and Mrs. Rosella Niner, Salisbury. Funeral service will be held this (Thursday) afternoon at two o'clock in Thomas Funeral Home, Salisbury, with Rev. Ernest N. Rumbaugh and Rev. David E. Fetter officiating.
