Mr. Sipple was born on April 5, 1932, the son of the late Dale Edgar and Pearl E. (Bowser) Sipple. He was also preceded in death by one brother, James Sipple. Surviving are one son, Dennis L. Sipple and wife Mary Ann, Meyersdale; one daughter, Doreen L. Pennock and husband David, Shepherdstown, W.Va.; four brothers: William "Sodie" Sipple, Grantsville, Md.; Forest Sipple, Mt. Pleasant; Joseph Sipple, Frostburg, Md.; George Sipple, Salisbury; five grandchildren: Leigh Ann, Lanette, Matthew, Bethany, and Philip. He was a member of the Greenville Lutheran Church, Grantsville Post 214 American Legion and Walker-Harris Post 8826, V.F.W., Salisbury. Mr. Sipple was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Friends were received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Saturday at Newman Funeral Home, Inc., Salisbury. Services were conducted in the funeral home at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 17, with the Rev. David E. Fetter officiating. Interment was in St. Paul Wilhelm Cemetery.
