Sipple, 85 of Boswell (Jenner Twp.), died October 12, 2007 at his home. He was born April 29, 1922 in Wilmor, son of the late Lester R. and Nellie Mae (Aul) Sipple. Also preceded in death by his wife, Madonna D. (Clapper) Sipple. He is survived by these children: Barry Sipple, Warsaw, IN; Billy Sipple, Ft. Myers, FL; Carey Sipple, Somerset; Letta Miller, Boswell, and Sheila Sipple, Lady Lake, FL. Also ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. A brother of: Calvin Sipple, Meyersdale; Mae Weimer, Boswell, and Elvia June Engleka, Port Charlotte, FL. Bill was a retired clerk for the B&O Railroad. A veteran of the U.S. Navy WWII. A member of American Legion Post 0181, and VFW Post 734. Friends were received Monday at the Price Funeral Home Meyersdale, where service was conducted Tuesday, with the Rev. James H. Smelley officiating. Interment Reformed Cemetery Meyersdale. Memorials may be directed to Medi Home Hospice, 308 Haynes St., Johnstown, PA 15901.
