  DANIEL C. SISLER
   
    Daniel C. Sisler, 78, of Friendsville, Md., died May 8, 1973, at
  his home.  A native of Friendsville, he was a son of the late Horace
  and Annie (Beeghly) Friend.
    A veteran of World War I, he was a member of Laurel Run Church of
  God.
    Surviving are his wife, the former Ida Chidister; five sons, Cecil
  R. Sisler, Margate, Fla.; Dr. Hugh Sisler, Beltsville, Md.; Bennett
  D. Sisler, Littleton, Colo.; Dr. Edward Sisler, Raleigh, N. C.; and
  Dennis E. Sisler, Baltimore; seven daughters, Mrs. J. W. Hunt, Bel
  Air; Mrs. R. L. Olson, Reisterstown, Md.; Mrs. Bill L. Slagle,
  Cumberland; Mrs. Reed Friend, Silver Spring, Md.; Mrs. John Lewis
  III, Rockville, Md.; Mrs. Sammy Tipton, Takoma Park, Md.; and Mrs.
  Theodore Zarnoch, Baltimore; 31 grandchildren and one
  great-grandchild.
    He was a brother of Dave, Frank and Jasper Sisler, Friendsville;
  Scott Sisler, Oakland, Md.; and Floyd Sisler, Terra Alta. W. Va.
    Funeral service was conducted Friday morning at Laurel Run Church,
  with Rev. Joseph Gaudy officiating.  Interment in Blooming Rose
  Cemetery.
