Fisher, died in the Hazel McGilvery Hospital last Friday evening. She had been in the hospital not quite 24 hours and was a sufferer from sugar diabetes. She was aged 15 years, 6 months and 2 days. Her funeral was held Sunday afternoon at the Maple Glen Amish Church. Mr. and Mrs. Fisher adopted her from the Amish Mennonite Children's Home near Grantsville, about a year ago. Her mother died several years ago but a sister and her father survive and attended the funeral. Her sister's home is with a widow Zook, near Belleville, Pa., who with I.Z. Yoder's from there, also attended the funeral. The Yoder's called at the homes of Roy and Lloyd Otto before returning to their homes on Monday morning. These Otto families were guests at the Yoder homes during the General Conference at Belleville in 1927. Meyersdale Republican, February 27, 1930
