Skowron, 77, Windber, went to be with the Lord, July 1, 2006, at home. Born March 26, 1929 in Johnstown, a daughter of John and Josephine (Hatlas) Skowron. Preceded in death by parents; infant brother, John; brothers, Joseph, Walter, Stanley and Michael Skowron; sisters, Genevieve and Mary Antonilla Skowron. Survived by sister, Rosie M. Skowron with whom she resided; immediate nephews, Walter, Michael, Stanley Jr., and Gregory Skowron and other nieces and nephews. Former employee John's Market, Windber, and retired employee of Bestform Foundations, Richland with 20 years service. Member of ILGWU (unite) and Polish National Alliance Group 2412. Also member of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Windber, where Marion was a member of the church Rosary Society; former member of the choir and where she was a helper with the church festival. Friends will be received 2 to 4 p.m. Tuesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the William Kisiel Funeral Home, Windber. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Windber. The Very Rev. Leonard E. Voytek. V.F. Committal at Saint John Cantius Catholic Cemetery, Windber. Rosary will be recited 7:30 p.m. Wednesday with vigil for the deceased, Wednesday.
