  JOSEPH SLAGLE
  
    Joseph Slagle, 69, of Meyersdale, died Friday, July 1, in
  Meyersdale Community Hospital.  He was born July 25, 1885, a son of
  Henry and Harriet (Lint) Slagle, and is survived by his wife, Mrs.
  Grace Poorbaugh Slagle, a daughter, Miss Mabel Slagle, at home;
  brother John Slagle, Somerset, and a sister, Mrs. Simon Murray,
  Meyersdale.
    Mr. Slagle was a retired employee of the General Telephone Company
  of Pennsylvania, having worked there for 31 years.  He was a member
  of Amity Evangelical and Reformed Church.
    Funeral services were conducted in Konhaus Funeral Home,
  Meyersdale, July 4, at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. L. Collins Defibaugh
  officiating.  Interment is Union Cemetery, Meyersdale.
