  SLAGLE
  
  Miss Mabel M. Slagle, 77, of Meyersdale, died Nov. 18, 1986 at
  Meyersdale Community Hospital.  Born May 4, 1909, in Larimer
  Township, daughter of the late Joseph and Grace (Poorbaugh) Slagle. 
  A retired school teacher with 37 years at Meyersdale Area High
  School.  A member of Amity United Church of Christ, and a member of
  the National Retired Teachers Association, the Somerset County
  Historical Society, and served as a librarian for the Meyersdale
  Library Association.  Friends will be received after 2 p.m. Thursday
  in the Leckemby Funeral Home, where service will be at 2 p.m. Friday,
  the Rev. Carl P. Mitchell officiating.  Donations may be made to the
  Meyersdale Public Library in her name.
