Slavich, 57, of 171 Nichol St., Jenners, formerly of Mims, Fla., died May 17, 1977, at home. Born Sept. 22, 1919, in Jerome, a daughter of Joseph B. and Victoria (Olszewski) Folton. Preceded in death by father, who died Jan. 2, 1968; husband, William, who died Aug. 12, 1973; and an infant sister. Survived by mother, with whom she resided. Was a sister of: Edward J., married to the former Lorraine O'Baker, Boswell RD 1; Robert C., North Smithfield, R.I.; and Ernest A., married to the former Mary Lou Bagos, Maple Heights, Ohio; 10 nieces and nephews; five great-nieces and nephews. Member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Jenners. Graduate of the former Boswell High School, class of 1937, and was a practical nurse. Friends received from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Joseph G. Hoffman Funeral Home, 409 Main St., Boswell, where Wake Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph's Church, the Rev. Lawrence Wolkonowski, O.F.M. Conv. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park. Daily American, May 18, 1977 [S1904]
