"Bud" Sleasman, 72, Friendsville, Md., died March 3, 1990, at home. Born Jan. 6, 1918, in Rockwood, son of Idella (Lyons) Sleasman of Rockwood and the late Harry Sleasman. Beside mother, he is survived by wife, Myrtle Umbel; four sisters: Mabel Wilson and Cleo Brown, both of Corapolis; May Uphouse, Finnely, and Dolly Boden, Rockwood; and brother, George Sleasman, Corapolis. Also nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by two stepsons-Richard and James Frazee. Member of Friendsville First Christian Church and Friendsville Lions Club. Also member of Masonic Lodge 192, A.F.&A.M. of Oakland, Md., and Ali Ghan Shrine Temple of Cumberland, Md. Friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. Monday at Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, with Rev. H. B. Rittenhouse officiating. Interment, Somerset Memorial Park. Masonic services will be held by Somerset Lodge 358, F. & A.M. at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Daily American, March 5, 1990 [S1915]
