Sleasman, 27, of Friedens RD 2, died April 11, 1985, at Lee Hospital, Johnstown. Born May 27, 1957, in Somerset, a son of the late Don Sleasman. Survived by his mother and stepfather, James and Evelyn Lyons of Berlin; his wife, the former Carol Oakes; and the following children: Kelly, Russell, Clifford and Jeremy; paternal grandmother, Mrs. Edna Sleasman of Somerset RD 4; step-grandmother, Mrs. Vernon Lyons of Berlin; these brothers and sisters: Kevin of Somerset RD 6; Blaine, Rick, Mark, all of Somerset; Mrs. Dave (Donna) Foy and Mrs. Roger (Lynn) Foy, both of Berlin; two half-brothers, Danny and Johnny, and two half-sisters, Chrissie and Bessie, all of Boswell; stepsister, Mrs. Cletus (Robin) Leasure of Boswell RD 2; two stepbrothers, Larry Lyons of North Carolina and Jimmy Lyons of Somerset. Member of the Church of Jesus Christ Apostolic in Somerset. Owner-operator of Mel's Transmission Shop in Friedens. Friends were received at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home Saturday and Sunday. Funeral service will be conducted at the Church of Jesus Christ Apostolic in Somerset at noon Monday, the Rev. Irvin Knieriem officiating. Interment, Friedens Cemetery.
