  SLEASMAN
  
    Myrtle Irene Sleasman, 90, of Oakland, Md., formerly of Confluence,
  died Feb. 28, 1996, at her residence.  Born Dec. 5, 1905, in
  Friendsville, Md.  A daughter of the late James H. and Zaloma
  (Friend) Umbel.  Preceded in death by her husband, Jacob, and two
  sons.  Surviving are six grandchildren; a sister, Annetta Grove, and
  brother, Joseph Umbel, both of Friendsville.  Friends will be
  received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the Humbert Funeral Home,
  Confluence, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, with the
  Rev. John Snyder officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial
  Park.
