  Olive J. Sleek, 78, Somerset, formerly of Jerome, died Oct. 23, 2004,
  at Somerset Hospital.  Born Jan. 29, 1926, in Confluence, daughter of
  Clyde and Ida (Reckner) Bowlin.  Preceded in death by parents; son,
  Gary; brother, Charles and sisters, Pearl Lancaster, Ruth Thomas and
  Louise Close.  Survived by husband of 58 years, Clayton G. "Jim"
  Sleek; children, Jimmy, married to the former Donna Kalp, Jones
  Mills, Gregg, married to the former Bonnie Miller, Jerome, Paul,
  married to the former Andrea Durham, Newport News, Va., Homer,
  married to the former Beth Slope, Somerset and Carol, married to
  Martin Gross, Harrisburg; 13 grandchildren and two
  great-grandchildren.  Sister of Carl Bowlin, Confluence and Leona
  Collins, Elyria, Ohio.  A 1944 graduate of Turkeyfoot High School.
  Co-owner of Terrace Lanes Bowling, Jerome.  Member of Maple Spring
  Church of the Brethren, Jerome, and longtime volunteer for Meals on
  Wheels and Sharing and Caring.  Family will receive friends from 2 to
  4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown.  Viewing
  from 9 a.m. until service at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Maple Spring Church
  of the Brethren.  The Rev. William Wenger officiating.  Interment,
  church cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to "In Touch"
  Hospice, 1590 N. Center Ave., Somerset, Pa. 15501.
