    Nevada J. Slick, 61, of Huckleberry Highway, Central City, died
  April 7, 1997, at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown.  Born May 31,
  1935, in Stonycreek Township, daughter of Russell and Mary (Keller)
  Duppstadt.  Preceded in death by parents; husband, Orace, and
  brother, Norman J.  Survived by sister, Goldie Duppstadt, and
  brother, Lewis Duppstadt, married to the former Shirley Walker, all
  of Central City RD 1.  Nieces and nephews: Carol Burkett, Barbara
  Frazier, Wayne and Clair Duppstadt; great-nieces and nephews: Brian
  and Todd Edmonson; Brianna Burkett; Levi Duppstadt; Jacob and Hannah
  Frazier; Melissa, Russell and Tara Duppstadt.  Former employee of
  Cairnbrook and Hollsopple sewing factories.  Member of St. Paul's
  Lutheran Church, Buckstown.  Family will receive friends from 7 to 9
  p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Deaner Funeral
  Home, Stoystown, where service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Rev.
  William H. Snyder and Rev. William G. Triebe.  Interment, Schellsburg
  Cemetery.
