  CATHERINE SLIFCO
  
    Catherine Slifco, 56, of Berlin RD 4, died May 16, 1979 at
  Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.  Born Aug. 22, 1922 in
  Blough, she was a daughter of John and Lena (Yonish) Swet.
    She was preceded in death by father and one sister, Helen.
    She is survived by husband, Steve; mother; and these children:
  Joann and Nancy of Berlin; Steven of Berlin RD 3; and Donna of Berlin
  RD 4; and these brothers and sisters: Michael, Metro, John Jr., and
  Charles Swet, Mrs. William (Mary) Hayden, Mrs. Michael (Pauline)
  Simmons, Mrs. Rudy (Helen) Pucevich, Mrs. Joseph (Anna) Chuly, all of
  Pittsburgh; Andrew and Timothy Swet, Mrs. Lester (Martha) Beeghly,
  Mrs. Louis (Nadja) Yeluses, and Roseann Swet, all of Chicago; Mrs.
  John (Olga) Baker of Berlin RD 3; Paul Swet of Berlin RD 4; and Mrs.
  Jesse (Stella) Dison of Spruce Pine, Ala.
    She was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Orthodox Church, Goodtown.
    Friends were received at the Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral Home,
  Berlin.  Divine Liturgy was at SS. Peter and Paul Orthodox Church
  with the Rev. John Govrusik officiating.  Interment, Pine Hill
  Orthodox Cemetery.
